William G. Duncan III

Will has twenty years of retail, office, and industrial sales and leasing experience in the commercial real estate industry. He is a Principal with Duncan Commercial Real Estate, LLC where he leads the sales and leasing of retail, office and industrial properties as well as overseeing the property management portfolio of the company. Prior to opening Duncan Commercial Real Estate in 2005, Will held the position of Director of Sales with NAI Walter Wagner, Jr. Company. He is a graduate of Centre College, is a member of Kentucky CCIM Chapter, the Greater Louisville Association of Realtors, the International Council of Shopping Centers, Second Presbyterian Church and serves as a board member of the Kilgore Samaritan Counseling Center.

Fr. John Eifler

Jerry Eifler, M.A., M. Ed., was ordained a Roman Catholic priest in 1961 for the Archdiocese of Louisville.  He has served as an Associate Pastor, Teacher, Counselor, Therapist, the Director of Developent and Assistant to a college president.  He has served as Parish Pastor for 30 years during which time he has served on a number of civic and professional boards and committees.  Currently he is retired and continues to minister in various ways as needs arise in the Archdiocese.

He enjoys art, architectue, travel, music, theater, history, archeology and as much of the human experience as possible.  He has authored three books of his homilies which were published by Butler Books: Linger and Be Available, in 2003: Unpacking for the Journey, in 2005; and Embracing the Source, in 2007.  He also co-authored St. Francis of Rome Church Community, An Illustrated History, with Steve Wiser and Charles W. Beckman, Sr., published in 2007.

George Gibbs

EDUCATION: B.S. in Forest Management / Wildlife Management from North Carolina State College

WORK EXPERIENCE: Thirty years with U.S.D.A. Forest Service on 16 National Forests in 5 States.  Served as Forester, Assistant District Ranger, District Ranger, Supervisor's Staff for Wildlife Management and Fire Control, Supervisor's Staff for Wildlife and Range Management, and Supervisor's Staff for Land Use Planning and Environmental Coordination.

As Forest Planner was responsible for drafting the Land Use Plan for The National Forests in Alabama including 644,000 acres of federally owned land and supervising the team of 14 resource specialists who contributed the technical input to the planning process.

OTHER ORGANIZATIONS: Member of The Society of American Foresters, The American Forest Association, The American Chestnut Foundation and numerous other professional and civic organizations.  Formerly was a member of First United Methodist Church in Montgomery, Alabama where he was a member of the Administrative Board and a founding director of the Samaritan Counseling Center at that church.  Is presently a member of Second Presbyterian Church in Louisville.

Lee Groza

Lee is an assurance partner with Mountjoy Chilton Medley LLP with over 18 years experience providing audit, accounting and other advisory services to clients in diverse industries including insurance, manufacturing, financial services, governmental and nonprofit organizations. Prior to joining Mountjoy Chilton Medley LLP, Lee was a Special Agent with the Criminal Investigation Division of the IRS. Lee is a Past-President of the Kentucky Society of CPAs (KyCPA) and remains an active member of the organization. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and formerly served on their practice advisory group and governing council. He also serves on the board of directors and executive committee of USA Cares, a national charity supporting military families. Lee is a graduate of UCLA with a degree in Economics.

Wayne Harper

Executive Director (EdD) [full-time]
Dr. Harper is a licensed Psychologist with specialty training in Health Psychology and Geriatric Psychology. He received his Doctoral Degree from the University of Louisville and received his Internship training at the Vanderbilt University Medical School. He is a member of the American Psychological Association and the Kentucky Psychological Association. Prior to joining the Kilgore Samaritan Counseling Center, Dr. Harper was Vice President and Chief Clinical Officer for a large managed behavioral health organization and, prior to that, had been in private practice for several years. Wayne sees individuals, couples and families in therapy, conducts psychological testing for children, adults and the elderly, and is the chief consulting Psychologist for a number of nursing homes in the area. He specializes in relationship-building in families and in acute stress reactions in individuals who have suffered trauma and/or serious medical insult.

Rev. Susan Moorefield

A native South Carolinian, Susan is a graduate of Presbyterian College (BA French) and Columbia Theological Seminary.  Ordained in 1992, she has served churches in Georgia and South Carolina.  In 2010, Susan began serving as asssociate pastor at Second Presbyterian Church here in Louisville.  Susan enjoys spending time with her husband, Ken, and two sons, David and John.  Susan and Ken are avid fly fishers and will travel just about anywhere to catch fish. 

 

 

Dan Russell

Dan grew up in Frankfort, earned a BSEE from UK and MBA from Loyola.  He worked 38 years for Motorola in product research, development, manufacturing, information technology and ended as Director of Engineering with a global team of 250 engineers and $100M annual direct budget.  Dan, his wife Cheryl, and two children lived in Australia for 3 years, as well as 10 years in Texas, 15 years in Illinois and 16 years in Florida.  He serves as Elder, Treasurer and Finance Committee chair at Second Presbyterian Church and has served as a elder in two other Presbyterian churches.  At the Kilgore Samaritan Counseling Center Dan chairs the Stewardship & Community Relations Committee and the Board of Directors.

 

Ann Schell

Ann Duggins Schell is an attorney in Louisville with a private practice concentrating in estate planning and probate. She holds a B.A. from the University of Kentucky, a J.D. from the University of Louisville and a LL.M. in Taxation Law from New York University. Ann has also been a market researcher for Procter and Gamble and an English teacher.

Ann is currently a Trustee of Second Presbyterian Church. She has served as vice chair of the Kentucky Arts Council (and was a member of the Council for 12 years) and was an elder and co-chair of the personnel committee at Second Presbyterian Church, as well as for 16 years co-chair of the Presbyterian Union, a monthly discussion group which meets in downtown Louisville. She has served on the Bellarmine College Board of Overseers and has been secretary and chair of the Community Relations committee and Deferred Giving Committee of that board. She is past president of the YWCA of Louisville and the Women Lawyer Association as well as serving on the Ethics Committee of the Louisville Bar Association.

She is married to Ivan Schell, who is also a practicing attorney in Louisville.

Sharon Schmidt

Sharon Schmidt is a native of Madison, North Carolina and is a 1978 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Education. Sharon taught school (Kindergarten and first grade) in the Rockingham County (NC) School District for four years. In 1982, Sharon joined Piedmont Airlines, serving as a flight attendant until 1989, when Piedmont was acquired by US Airways. Sharon continued flying for US Airways until 1996. During her tenure with Piedmont and US Airways, Sharon was based in Norfolk, Greensboro and Charlotte. While living in Charlotte, Sharon earned her North Carolina Master Gardener Certificate from North Carolina State University and the Mecklenburg County Extension Office. Sharon moved to Louisville in 2006 and is very active with St. Francis in the Fields Episcopal Church, where she serves as Co-Chair of the Altar Guild and also serves as an usher. Sharon also serves as the President of the Innisbrook Homeowners Association. Sharon is an avid gardener and enjoys pilates, skiing and traveling. Sharon lives in Prospect with her husband Luke, their son Luke Jr. who is a senior at Kentucky Country Day School (their daughter Margaret is a senior at the University of Kentucky) and their two golden retrievers.

Jim Watson

Jim received Business Administration degree from Morehead State University.  Raised in Toronto Canada, he has been in Louisville for the past 35 years.  He has a Charter Wealth Advisor (CWA) designation and is Sr. V.P. with Hilliard, Lyons.  Jim is an elder and served as trustee at Second Presbyterian church as well as the finance committee at the Healing Place. He is married to the former Linda Moss and they have 4 adult children and 7 grandchildren.
